I have an honours degree BSc(IIi) in Psychology.
I also have an MSc in Psychological Therapy in Primary Care and qualified in 2007 from Dundee and Stirling universities and Scottish NHS. The course and the MSc is accredited by the British Psychology Society. This qualification allows me to practice in the NHS in Scotland as an Applied Psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, and I have over ten years experience of doing so. This role is designed to tackle the growing need for therapy with adults who experience depression and anxiety. The main therapy used in these cases is CBT. The course, and the qualification, is now approved by the British Psychology Society.
I did my EMDR training with EMDR Europe, and completed all three parts of the training, which allows me to practice EMDR with adults who have experienced trauma.
